I wrote a book titled New OZ: Finding the Spiral, a modern sequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz that we read at school.
In the story, a curious third-grader discovers a mysterious green door at school. Stepping through it, he enters a broken world of Oz floating in the sky, where stories are unraveling and magic is fading. Guided by a magical map and his sister’s belief, he must journey through the Spiral—a secret path connecting all stories ever told—to save imagination before it disappears forever.
